The anti-regime writings and those demanding the Iranian militias to leave Syria expand to “Jdeidat Artouz” west of the capital Damascus

Rif Dimashq Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights was informed that new graffiti messages have been written by anonymous persons on the walls of the secondary school in Jdeidat Artouz town in the western Rif Dimashq, demanding the release of detainees from the regime’s prisons and the Iranian militias to leave Syria.

According to information obtained by SOHR; patrols of the police outpost in the town, roamed and deployed near the school and worked on removing the writings hours after being written.

SOHR published on December 10, that it monitored graffiti writings written by anonymous persons on some walls in Beit Al-Jinn village in Jabal al-Haramoun “Al-Sheikh” south-west of the capital Damascus, where these anonymous persons wrote anti-regime writings demanding the release of detainees and the Iranian militias to leave the Syrian territory.

On December 6, SOHR reported that phrases were seen on walls of houses in Deir Maker town in Damascus’ countryside, demanding to release the detainees from the Syrian regime’s prisons, and expressing rejection for the Iranian presence in Syria.

It is noteworthy that the areas that came under control of regime forces after evacuating the armed groups and the residents who refused to struck reconciliation deals, witness repeated similar actions expressing the popular rejection against the presence of these militias.

On December 5, SOHR reported that reliable sources said that anonymous persons tore a picture of the head of the Syrian regime Bashar al-Assad, which was hanged on the building of a school in Douma city.

According to the sources of SOHR; unknown persons wrote anti-regime writings on the school’s walls, including “overthrow the regime, revolutionaries of Al-Ghouta are coming back, we demand the release of detainees”.

Local sources informed SOHR that the regime’s intelligence deployed 4 checkpoints in the vicinity of the school after the incident, in addition to closing the school completely, amid security tightening at all checkpoints in Douma city and its surroundings.
