A female child dies in a in a previous Russian air strike… and more than 350 ground and airstrikes target the “de-escalation” area today

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of a child affected by injuries she had in Russian bombardment targeted Belyon town in Jabal al-Zawiyah, on the 8th of December 2019, raising the death toll of the massacre to 10 including 4 children and 2 citizen women.

In another context, the Russian warplanes renewed their raids and carried out 7 raids on the abandoned battalion area east of Idlib.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published that the regime forces continue to shell the eastern and southeastern countryside of Idlib, targeting al-Tah, Deir Sharqi, Dier Gharbi, and areas of Om Jalal, Ejaz area, the western areas of Abu al-Duhur, al-Raffa, al-Halba, al-Serj, Karsanta, Abu Makki, and Bidama town in Idlib countryside, raising the number of ground strikes to 340.

The Syrian Observatory monitored this afternoon air strikes by regime warplanes on Um al-Tina village in the eastern countryside of Maarat al-Nu’man, without reports about any casualties so far, while the clashes in the southeastern countryside of Idlib had declined, between regime forces and allied armed men on one hand, and the factions and Tahrir Al-Sham on the other hand, to be limited to mutual targets with missiles and heavy machine guns, after Tahrir Al-Sham was able to regain control of the abandoned battalion after a surprise attack on regime forces positions began at dawn on Wednesday, during which 10 members of the regime forces and the allied militants were killed, while 5 fighters of the factions and Tahrir Al-Sham were killed.
