In the shadow of international inaction and disregard by relevant organizations, the humanitarian catastrophe gets aggravated in IDP camps in the Syrian North

The humanitarian catastrophe and suffering continue in the IDP (Internally Displaced Persons) camps, every year and with the entry of winter the catastrophe is aggravated even more, in which the makeshift and rudimentary camps lack the minimum means of protection from heavy rains and cold weather, where the rain overflows the displaced people’s tents amid inaction of the humanitarian organizations and the international community in the shadow of the huge number of displaced people in these camps spread in both northern and western countryside of Idlib as wellas the western countryside of Aleppo.

For its part, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights and through periodical reports, sheds light upon the humanitarian catastrophe that affects those people who displaced due to the military operations by the Russian “guarantor” and the Syrian regime.

Today, lens of SOHR toured in several camps in both Idlib and Aleppo countryside and monitored the humanitarian catastrophe there.

Where SOHR published on Thursday, that as winter enters, the living conditions in the displacement camps at the Syrian north worsens, particularly the random camps scattered in many villages and towns in the northern and western countryside of Idlib, these camps lack support in light of the absence of care from humanitarian organizations operating in the Syrian north, in addition to the fact that it doesn’t follow the management of displaced people’ affairs, making these camps live real tragic situation.
