Regime’s barrel bombs target Jabal al-Akrad as ground shelling continues on the area

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of a child affected by the injury he had as a result of barrel bombs dropped by regime’s helicopters on Abdita town in the southern countryside of Idlib days ago.

Meanwhile the regime’s helicopters dropped more barrel bombs on “Putin – Erdogan” area targeting Kabani in Jabal Al-Akrad, amid rocket shelling by the regime forces on the area.

SOHR documented hours ago, the death of a child and injury of 6 citizens (3 children, 2 women and one man) all of the same family, as a result of barrel bombs dropped by helicopters on Maarshourin town in the eastern countryside of Maarrat Al-Nu’man city.

With the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 835, the number of people who were killed since the last agreement of “Putin – Erdogan” on the 31st of August 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until the 15th of December 2019, and they are: 224 civilians including 65 children and 44 citizen women, and they are 98 including 32 children and 17 women were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 15 including 3 women and 6 children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 32 including 5 children 6 women were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 65 people including 16 women and 17 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 14 citizens including 6 children and 2 women were killed in shelling by the factions on regime forces’-controlled areas in Aleppo and its countryside and the countryside of Hama, while at least 291 fighters were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s aerial and ground shelling including 192 of the Jihadis, in addition to killing of 320 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

Thus, it rose to at least 4936, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until the 15th of December 2019, and they are: 1269 civilians including 325 children and 230 citizen women, and they are 324 including 76 children and 60 women, and 9 of the civil defense and 6 of the ambulance team were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 103 including 22 women and 21 children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 569 including 159 children, 96 women, and 5 members of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 179 people including 36 women and 38 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 94 citizens including 31 children and 16 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, Qamhana, Al-Rasif, Al-Aziziyah, Karnaz, Jurin, Al-Nairab Camp, neighborhoods in Aleppo city and its southern countryside, while at least 1956 fighters were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s aerial and ground shelling including 1279 of the Jihadis, in addition to killing of 1711 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

During the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until the 15th of December 2019, and Syrian Observatory documented the death of 5462 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 1552 civilians including 406 children under the age of eighteen and 294 women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 120 people including 34 children under the age of eighteen and 20 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 2042 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 1311 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 1868 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 5696 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 1635 civilians including 435 children and 308 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 121 people including 34 children and 21 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 2109 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 1415 of the “Jihadi” fighters, and 1952 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
