Russian warplanes and regime helicopters target the eastern countryside of Marat al-Numan with about 30 raids and barrel bombs led to deaths and injuries

SOHR monitored the renewed intensive air strikes on the area of “Putin-Erdoğan”, where the skies of the region since this morning witnessed flight of a squadron of Russian aircrafts and the regime helicopters, where at least 11 intensive raids carried out by the Russian “guarantor” aircrafts on Harran, Al-Rafa and the outskirts of Masarant, the Vicinity of Binnish and the eastern outskirts of Idlib city, while regime helicopters dropped more than 18 barrel bombs on areas in Al-Haraqi, Deir al-Sharqi, the outskirts of Al-Sarman, Masaran and Al-Ghadqa, in the eastern countryside of maarat al-Numan, Amid the continued flight of aircrafts over the area, the Syrian Observatory documented the death of a woman and injuries caused by the Russian air strikes on the outskirts of Binnish.

As more casualties have been reported, the number of people killed since the last “Putin-Erdogan” agreement on August 31 to December 16, raised to 836, they are 225 civilians, including 65 children and 45 women killed by the regime and Russian “guarantor” aircrafts, as well as ground bombardments and targets. They are 99, including 32 children and 18 women, in the Russian air strikes on Idlib and Hama countryside,  and 15, including 3 women and 6 children were killed in barrel bombs by helicopters, and 32, including 5 children and 6 women were killed in the targeting of regime warplanes, and 65 people, including 16 women and 17 children were killed in ground shelling by the regime, and 14 civilians, including 5 children and 2 women were killed by the factions shelling on the regime-held areas In Aleppo city and its countryside and Hama countryside, in the same period, at least 291 fighters were killed by the regime and Russians in aerial and ground strikes and in clashes , including 192 jihadists, in addition to the deaths of 320 members of regime forces and allied militants in targeting, bombing, explosions and clashes with jihadist groups and factions.

The death toll since the start of the most violent escalation in the “de-escalation” zone on April 30, as of December 15, raised to 4,937, including 1270 civilians, including 325 children and 231 women were killed by the regime and Russian “guarantor” warplanes, in addition to bombardment and ground targets, they are 325, including 76 children, 61 women, 9 civil defense and 6 of the emergency service by the Russian air strikes in both Idlib and Hama countryside, and 103,  including 22 women and 21 children were killed in barrel bombs by helicopters, 569 including 159 children, 96 women and 5 members of the rescue teams were killed also in targeting by the regime warplanes. A further 179 people, including 36 women and 38 children, were killed in ground bombardments carried out by regime forces, and 94 civilans, including 31 children and 16 women were killed by the factions shelling on Saqalbya, Qamhanah, Al-Rasif, Aziziya, Karnaz, Jurin, Al-Nairb camp and other neighborhoods in Aleppo city and its southern countryside, In the same period, at least 1,956 fighters were killed by the regime and Russian air and ground strikes and clashes, including 1,279 jihadists, in addition to 1,711 regime forces and allied militants killed in targets, bombings, explosions and clashes with jihadist groups and factions.

During the period between the 15th of February 2019, the date of the meeting of “Ruhani – Erdogan – Putin” until the 16th of December 2019, the Syrian Observatory documented the deaths and killing of 5463 people in the Russian –Turkish truce areas, they are 1553 civilians including 406 children and 295 women, they were killed by the Russian air strikes and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians is 120 people including 34 children and 20 women were killed in shell launched by the factions on the regime-held areas, and 2042 fighters were killed in different circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 1311 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 1868 of the regime forces and allied militias.

 SOHR also documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the deaths of 5697 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 1636 civilians including 435 children and 309 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the allied militias , targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 121 people including 34 children and 21 women, were killed in by shell launched by the factions, and 2109 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 1415 of the “Jihadi” fighters, and 1952 members of the regime forces and allied militias.
