Two armed attacks kill four people as security chaos continues within SDF areas of influence in Al-Raqqah and Deir ez-Zor countryside

Security chaos continues within SDF areas of influence in the north and north-east of Syria, where the Syrian Observatory reported that an armed attack carried out by two masked men on a motorcycle stopped a bus and deliberately shot two men of the passengers in Al-Hawaij town in Deir ez-Zor countryside, which led to their deaths immediately.

In Al-Raqqah governorate, gunmen of “Is” cells attacked the Directorate of Commerce located in front” Al-Tib Al Hadith” Hospital in Al-Tabqa city in the western countryside of Raqqa city, killing two security guards and injuring the staff there.

As more casualties have been reported, the number of fighters, civilians, oil workers and officials in service agencies, who were assassinated in four provinces, including Aleppo, Deir ez-Zor, Raqqa and Hasaka, in addition to “Manbij” area in the north-east of Aleppo province, which is controlled by SDF, raises to 410 people.

The Syrian Observatory reported that 129 persons, including six children and five women were assassinated by those cells in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, Al-Hasakah countryside, Raqqa city and its countryside and manbij area, in addition to the assassination of 277 fighters of SDF, including local commanders in the same areas, while four members of the international coalition were killed. The Syrian Observatory also reported dozens of casualties as a result of these assassinations.
