After 100 hours of battel with Russian air cover and violent ground shelling, regime forces control 43 villages and towns in the eastern countryside of Maarrat al-Nu’man  

Violent clashes continue between the regime forces and their militias against the jihadi factions and Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, in several areas of the eastern countryside of Maarrat al-Nu’man, where the Syrian Observatory monitored that the regime forces were able to take control of Jarjanaz town this evening, which is the largest town in the eastern countryside of Maarrat al-Nu’man, and located about 8 kilometers away from Maarrat al-Nu’man city, which is located on the international highway of Aleppo – Damascus, while the regime forces are launching the shells of heavy artillery the missiles targeting the towns of Talmanas, al-Ghadqa, and Marshmarin.

Increasing to 43, the number of villages that have been controlled by the regime forces since the start of the military operation on Thursday evening, the 19th of November 2019, and they are: Um Jalal, Um Al-Twaina, Al-Khariba, Al-Rabia, Al-Sharaa, Bernan, Sahal, Al-Farajeh, Abu Habeh, Al-Rafeh, Al-Serj, Haran, Al-Sayyadi, Tal al-Damm, Katra, Tal Al Shiekh, al-Brisa, Mazra’aat Al-Ali, Al-Burj, al-Haraki, Al-Minzar, Tahtaya, Al-Halbeh, al-Qarati, Karsatna, Al-M’eisruneh, Sakiya, Al-Tah, Al-Sarman, Abu Makki, Marata, Faalul, Al Haditha, Abu Dafnah, Taqana, and Jarjanaz, al-Metrawa, Kherbet al-Srouni, al-Bestan, al-Ma’asara, Kherbet Arnaba, Msibteh, and Abu Sharji.

In the same context, it rose to 10, the number of casualties of the regime forces since after midnight, in addition to 19 casualties of the Jihadi groups in shelling and clashes, also the Syrian Observatory documented since the beginning of the ground offensive 249 casualties of both parties, they are: 108 of the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, and 141 fighters including 21 of the factions and the rest are of the Jihadis.
