Factions repel five attempts by the “regime” to advance into Latakia countryside and more than 70 airstrikes target the “de-escalation” area

Violent clashes renewed between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them against the factions, in areas of Jabal al-Akrad at the northern countryside of Latakia, in conjunction with intensive and continuous ground shelling since this morning until now, where the Jihadi factions were able to repel five failed attempts to advance in hills around Kabani town, and the Syrian Observatory monitored violent clashes in the hills of al-Hadadah as well, where the regime forces have not been able to advance there in the last few days.

In the same context, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the killing of eight fighters of the regime forces as well as five of the Jihadi factions, during clashes and repelling the repeated attempts to advance in areas of Latakia countryside, in addition to the airstrikes.

Moreover, the bombardment of regime’s warplanes and helicopters, and warplanes of the Russian “guarantor” were focused on villages of Maarrat al-Nu’man, Saraqib, and the battlefronts there, in addition to Kabani area in the northern countryside of Latakia, where regime’s warplanes targeted them with 22 airstrikes, also the helicopters dropped 18 barrel bombs over the same areas, furthermore, the Russian warplanes carried out 33 airstrikes, where they committed a massacre of 10 casualties including two citizens and six children, after targeting a school housing displaced people in Jobas village near the international highway of Aleppo – Damascus.
