Heavy rainfall protects civilians from regime and Russian aircraft, and jihadi groups attack regime forces in Kabani killing four soldiers

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored cautious and relative calm prevailing contested areas in both eastern and south-eastern countryside of Idlib. This calm is coincided with noticeable deteriorating weather conditions along with heavy rainfall, which impedes the overflight of regime and Russian warplanes.

Separately, factions and jihadi groups attacked positions of the regime forces in Al-Qasabiyah area where clashes erupted between both parties. After these clashes had been over, the factions retreated to their positions.

In connection to this, jihadi groups unleashed a surprising attack on regime positions in Kabani area in Jabal Al-Akrad in the northern countryside of Latakia, where fierce clashes ignited between both side. During these clashes, four regime soldiers were killed amid confirmed information about more casualties in the ranks of both parties.
