Unidentified shelling targets positions in al-Jala’a Desert and a headquarters of the Iranian militias in al-Bokamal city

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored several explosions today in areas of presence of the Iranian militias, in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor near the Iraqi border. Sources of the Syrian Observatory reported that the explosions were caused by unknown shelling, where the information conflicted about whether it was caused by drones or if it was the result of long-range missiles. The shelling targeted an Iranian militia headquarters in al-Jam’eyyat neighborhood of al-Bokamal city, also other explosions took place in al-Jala’a Desert in al-Bokamal countryside, but no information about the extent of casualties.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored on the 8th of December that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored aerial bombardment targeted positions of the Iranian forces and their loyal militias in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.

In the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory; drones whose identity is not known so far, targeted positions of the Iranian forces and their loyal militias yesterday evening, in the are of Al-Hezam Al-Akhdar at the outskirts of Al-Bokamal city east of Deir Ezzor.

The targeting resulted in outbreak of fires in the targeted locations and killed at least 5 members of the pro-Iran militias.

On November 18, SOHR published that a drone targeted on Sunday evening, a vehicle of the “Popular Mobilization” that is loyal to the regime forces at the outskirts of Al-Bokamal city east of Deir Ezzor near the Syrian – Iraqi border.

The targeting resulting in destroying the vehicle and killing all members in it.
