Hezbollah and regime security services raid Assal Al-Ward in the Western Qalamoun against backdrop of killing member of regime intelligence
Rif Dimashq Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: reliable sources has informed the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that patrols of the “Lebanese Hezbollah” and regime Air Force Intelligence, carried out a campaign of raids on Assal Al-Ward town in the Western Qalamoun in Rif Dimashq.
According to information obtained by SOHR; the patrols set up several makeshift roadblocks in the town. In addition, other patrols of Hezbollah including 4×4 vehicles with 23mm cannons installed over them, set up makeshift roadblocks on side streets.
This campaign of raids and security tightening comes against the backdrop of the killing of a Military Security’s first warrant officer affiliated to the 227th branch, known as “Abu Ali Al-Darrasat”, in addition to the disappearance of a regime soldier in the same area.
