Regime forces unleash new attack on Bernan and Farawan renewing the fierce battles in both eastern and south-eastern countryside

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored renewed fierce clashes in areas in Maarrat Al-Nu’man, between regime forces and gunmen loyal to them against opposition factions and jihadi groups, as a part of an attack by the regime on Bernan, Farawan and other areas surrounding them.

The clashes are accompanied by exchange of intensive shelling amid information about casualties in the ranks of both parties.

SOHR monitored  hours ago, mutual ground shelling on the frontlines in rural Maarat al-Numan is taking place between regime forces and armed men loyal to them on one hand, opposition factions and Jihadist groups on the other, where the targets are concentrated on the frontlines of Farwan, Al-Barisa, Halban and other frontlines in the area.
