Seven regime soldiers and jihadis killed in clashes and targeting operations in Aleppo and Idlib

The Syrian Observatory has documented the killing of five jihadis in clashes in Zammar area in the southern countryside of Aleppo. Meanwhile, two regime soldiers were killed and others were injured after being targeted by a guided missile in Jarjnaz town in the eastern countryside of Idlib.

In connection to this, the regime forces shelled the villages of Jazraya and Zammar in the southern countryside of Aleppo, after today’s clashes that followed an infiltration attempt by the regime forces, thwarted by the factions.

Regime forces also shelled Maarrat Al-Nu’man city and countryside with rocket shells. SOHR monitored hours ago, exchange of shelling in the frontline areas in eastern and south-eastern countryside of Idlib between opposition factions and jihadist groups against regime forces and loyalists, also the regime forces shelled places in Deir al-Sharqi and Al-Ghadfa in rural Maarrat al-Nu’man.

Meanwhile, Russian still halting aerial operations, same as regime aircraft after the raids they carried out today afternoon on rural Maarrat Al-Nu’man targeting places in Maarshourin and its outskirts. No casualties were reported.

With the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 1314, the number of people who were killed since the last agreement of “Putin – Erdogan” on the 31st of August 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until today, and they are: 311 civilians including 82 children and 62 citizen women, and they are 140 including 43 children and 24 women were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 19 including 3 women and 6 children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 61 including 7 children 13 women were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 77 people including 20 women and 21 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 14 citizens including 5 children and 2 women were killed in shelling by the factions on regime forces’-controlled areas in Aleppo and its countryside and the countryside of Hama, while at least 483 fighters were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s aerial and ground shelling including 351 of the Jihadis, in addition to killing of 520 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

It rose to at least 5415, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until today, and they are: 1356 civilians including 342 children and 248 citizen women, and they are 366 including 87 children and 67 women, and 9 of the civil defense and 6 of the ambulance team were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 107 including 22 women and 21 children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 598 including 162 children, 103 women, and 5 members of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 191 people including 40 women and 41 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 94 citizens including 31 children and 16 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, Qamhana, Al-Rasif, Al-Aziziyah, Karnaz, Jurin, Al-Nairab Camp, neighborhoods in Aleppo city and its southern countryside, while at least 2148 fighters were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s aerial and ground shelling including 1438 of the Jihadis, in addition to killing of 1911 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

During the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until today; the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 5941 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 1639 civilians including 423 children under the age of eighteen and 312 women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 120 people including 34 children under the age of eighteen and 20 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 2234 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 1470 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 2068 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 6175 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 1722 civilians including 452 children and 326 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 121 people including 34 children and 21 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 2301 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 1574 of the “Jihadi” fighters, and 2152 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
