As chaos and weapons spread HTS areas, unknown gunmen try to assassinate a mosque imam in “Salqin” city

A mosque imam in “Salqin” city in the northern countryside of Idlib was hit by several gunshots, after an assassination attempt by unknown gunmen as he was leaving a mosque, this evening, where Idlib province is witnessing the spread of ISIS cells and other cells of the regime forces, security deteriorating in areas of “Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham” and the factions, especially the border ones.

Earlier, “al-Shar’eiyah” mosque imam in Salqin city was assassinated on the 18th of November 2019. The Syrian Observatory learned that the victim was an Egyptian national, and that the killer threatened to detonate an explosive belt he was wearing; after he broke into the mosque to take cover in it for a short time, but the residents managed to kill him before he blew himself up.
