Demonstration goes out in “Bosra Al-Sham” demanding the release of detainees and cessation of bombardment on Idlib

Daraa Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: SOHR sources confirmed that tens of people participated in a demonstration in “Bosra Al-Sham” in the eastern countryside of Daraa.

The demonstrators lifted signboards demanding the release of detainees held in the regime prisons and basements. They also chants slogans show solidarity with Idlib province and called for instant cessation of the Russian and regime bombardment on civilians.

On December 29, SOHR sources reported seeing new graffiti in Daraa governorate, where the residents of Nawa city wrote new writings on the walls of the city, in solidarity with the humanitarian disaster in Idlib, and condemning military operations of the regime and Russia there.

On the 27th of this month, the Syrian Observatory has reported that several demonstrations were held in rural Daraa as part of the “popular uprising” in the area. The “Syrian Observatory” monitored tens of young people took to the streets in Nahta town east of Daraa, in evening demonstration, in solidarity with Idlib province and condemning shelling and displacement of people there, the demonstrators demanded the release of detainees from regime prisons, while another demonstration took place in al-Jiza town, where the demonstrators raised banners denouncing the policy of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and the bombardment of the Russian warplanes on rural Idlib.
