SDF sweep rural of Ras al-Ayn and Tal Tamr, thwart Turkish-backed factions’ attack in Ayn Issa causing them casualties

The Syria Democratic Forces thwarted an infiltration of Turkish-backed factions into areas of al-Debs and Hoshan villages in the western countryside of Ayn Issa north of al-Raqqah, where reliable sources reported that the “SDF” managed to destroy a military armored vehicle and killed at least 7 members, in addition to injuring others of these factions.

In the same context, the Syria Democratic Forces have swept the rural of Tal Tamar and Ras al-Ayn, including al-Qasimiyah village in al-Hasakah countryside, while violent clashes are taking place in several areas in al-Hasakah countryside, as part of the Syria Democratic Forces’ attempts to control the area.

And with the fall of more casualties, the death toll among the Syria Democratic Forces, military councils and internal security forces since the start of the Turkish military operation on Wednesday afternoon have risen to 445. The SOHR also documented the death of 29 members of the regime forces as a result of a missile targeting by the Turkish-backed factions on the areas of north-west of Manbij and the east of Ayn Issa town in positions of the regime forces’ deployment. Meanwhile, the number of deaths among Syrian factions loyal to Ankara and the pro-Turkey cells killed in the attacks and clashes against the SDF during the same period reached 364, including 21 of the cells loyal to Ankara killed in clashes with the SDF, in addition to 11 Turkish soldiers were killed during the battles, amid information about more dead Turks on the Turkish-Syrian border, and the number of those killed is likely to rise due to the high number of wounded, some of them in serious cases.
