Poor weather conditions impose cautious calm over the “de-escalation” zone after intensive bombardment and fierce clashes

Regime forces shelled Bdama town, Maraand village and the vicinity of Al-Najiyah in the western countryside of Idlib, and IKARDA area in the southern countryside of Aleppo. Other than that, cautious calm is prevailing the entire area of “Putin – Erdogan” along with cessation of aerial operations because of the bad weather and heavy rain.

Hours ago SOHR reported that violent clashes continued between regime forces and loyalists against factions and jihadist groups, as part of the counter-attack carried out by regime forces on factions and jihadists positions they captured earlier this day in the eastern rural Idlib.

The Syrian Observatory learned that regime forces were able to recapture several villages where factions and jihadist groups advanced into, amid intensive bombardments as the number of rocket-propelled grenades launched by both sides since the morning exceeded 660 rockets and artillery shells.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has documented more casualties due to shelling and clashes since this morning, death toll of regime forces and loyalists has risen to 27, while the death toll of opposition fighters risen to 18, including 14 jihadist.
