Unidentified drones pursue Iran-loyal militias and target several areas of rural Bokamal

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights observed today shelling by unidentified drones targeted al-Jala’a town and al-Abbas village in al-Bokamal city.
Yesterday, drones bombed al-Majuda town targeting palm orchards in al-Bokamal countryside, while pro-Iranian militias have been spreading in the area and have been working to relocate their places for days but no information about casualties so far.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored on the 8th of January 2019 that Syrian Observatory for Human Rights today monitored the transfer of heavy weapons and armored vehicles from several headquarters of Iran-supported militias and the Lebanese Hezbollah, in al-Jam’eyyat neighborhood of al-Bokamal city, to new locations and headquarters in the green belt area surrounding al-Bokamal city, this came as part of their anticipation and taking precautions against the possible American strikes, following the killing of Qassim Soleimani, the commander of the Iranian al-Quds Corps.

The Syrian Observatory had monitored the change of positions of the Iranian-loyal militias, and their move to new places near Euphrates riverbank in Deir Ezzor countryside.
