Anonymous gunmen target SDF headquarters in Deir Ezzor with RPG

Deir Ezzor Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: reliable sources informed the Syrian Observatory that fierce clashes flared up this evening in Al-Tayanah town in Deir Ezzor countryside, after unknown gunmen had launched an attack using machineguns and RPG shells on a headquarters of SDF in the town.

The attack targeted a school that is taken by SDF as their headquarters in Al-Tayanah town east of Deir Ezzor. No information about casualties has been reported so far.

On January 8, SOHR monitored an assassination attempt that targeted a member of the Civil Council in Thiban town Deir Ezzor countryside. Unidentified gunmen on a motorcycle opened fire on the Civil Council member in front of his house, but no injuries were caused.

In the same context, an IED exploded in a car of Syria Democratic Forces in Thiban area in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, which caused injuries in the ranks of SDF.
