Lebanon’s ‘Hezbollah’ raids Talfita and arrests several people in Western Qalamoun

Reliable source informed SOHR that a patrol of “Lebanese Hezbollah”, backed by regime intelligence patrols, raided a number of houses in Tifita town near Lebanon-Syria border in western Qalamoun, in the rural capital Damascus.

Furthermore, Observatory sources added that “Hezbollah” members arrested seven young men of Tifita, including volunteers in the ranks of the Syrian regime’s “National Defense” forces, following the killing of regime forces members in the same area by unknown assailants in early January, two members of regime forces were disappeared after being kidnapped by unknown persons in the area.

On January 1, the Syrian Observatory reported that unidentified gunmen attacked a security checkpoint belonging to “regime forces” in Talfita area west of Qalamoun, in rural Damascus, killing two regime forces and wounding two others.
