Looting and thefts by Turkish-backed militiamen continue in Afrin

The Syrian Observatory activists reported that a group of five gunmen traveling in a “Jeep”, blocked the road to Raju township in Afrin countryside, that passes through mountain villages.

They stopped passengers in an area near the valley of Qasim village of Raju township and looted two cars after the had shackled their owners and threatened them of killing, then they headed towards Raju town.

On January 10, very reliable sources told SOHR that gunmen affiliated to “Suleiman Shah” factions known as “Al-Amshat” kidnapped eight civilians including a female and her child, in Anqalah village of Al-Sheikh Hadid township in the countryside of Afrin city.

According to the sources; the civilians were kidnapped at night after storming their houses in the villages, then they were taken to unknown destination. No accusations directed to them and their fate is unknown.
