Turkish-backed faction arrests ten civilians for dealing with the “Autonomous Administration” in rural Afrin

Local sources informed the Observatory that the Turkish-backed faction “Mohamed Al-Fateh” launched a campaign of raids on civilian houses in “Kurkan” village of Maabatli township in Afrin countryside.

The faction arrested nearly ten civilians including three females on charge of dealing with the “Autonomous Administration” during their control in Afrin city and countryside north-west of Aleppo.

It is noteworthy that, the Turkish-backed factions are continuing to clamp down on the remaining Afrin’s people through kidnapping and arrests on daily bases, for the purpose of collect money by blackmailing the relatives of people they arrest or kidnap.

These violations come as a part of the systematic policy for pushing the remaining residents to leave their areas, so that Turkey and its Syrian proxies could implement the demographic change they planned to make in Afrin.
