Three Russian warplanes bombarded the vicinity of Khan Al-Sabil in Idlib countryside, in the first violation of kind since Idlib’s new ceasefire came into effect on the 12th of January 2020.
Cautious calm has been prevailing in the “de-escalation” zone, intercepted by several shells fired by the regime forces on Al-Hawija and Jesr Bayt al-Ras in Sahl Al-Ghab in the north-western countryside of Hama, areas in Maarrat Al-Nu’man city, and the towns and villages of Tal Mannas, Kafr Sajna, Rakaya, Babilla and Al-Jaradah in rural Idlib, Khan Al-Asal, Jam’eyyat Al-Kahrabaa, Al-Mansourah and Kafr Dael in the western countryside of Aleppo.
Jihadi factions fired several shells on Al-Hader area that is under control of the Syrian regime in the southern countryside of Aleppo.
Separately, SOHR sources could confirm that the news circulated on the regime media outlets for the second consecutive day, about the exit of civilians from jihadis and factions’ controlled areas to the regime-held areas via the safe passages opened by Russia, are completely false.
In connection to this, regime helicopters flew over the southern countryside of Idlib and threw leaflets like they did on Sunday in the western countryside of Aleppo.
The leaflets calls upon the civilians to leave the areas under control of the factions and head to regime controlled areas.
