Former commander kidnaps two civilians in Daraa city just days after executing three young people 

Daraa Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Observatory activists reported that a former commander in “Shabab Al-Sunnah”, who has settled his security situations with the regime and joined the regime forces, has kidnapped two siblings in Daraa Al-Balad in Daraa city.

No information has been reported yet about the reasons and motives of kidnapping the two civilians.

It is noteworthy that this kidnapping comes days after the execution of three young people in Daraa Al-Balad by the same person.

On January 9, the Syrian Observatory activists monitored that a former commander in “Shabab Al-Sunnah”, who has settled his security situations with the regime and joined the regime forces, executed three young men in Daraa city.

Sources informed SOHR that the commander who is now operating for the “215th Military Intelligence Branch”, kidnapped the three young men and executed them for assassinating his brother before days by planting an IED in the city.

Three days after being kidnapped, the bodies of the young men were found near Al-Kaziyah roundabout in Daraa Al-Balad in Daraa city, with marks of brutal torture on them.
