New round of Russian aerial bombardment hits Aleppo as regime jets target the M5

Activists informed the Syrian Observatory that the regime and Russian aircraft started a new round of aerial operations this morning on the area of “Putin – Erdogan”.

Russian jets targeted areas in Al-Mansurah, Al-Rashideen, and Kafr Hamra in the western and north-western parts of Aleppo city, with several airstrikes.

Meanwhile, regime helicopters dropped several barrel bombs on places in Khan Tuman town in the southern countryside of Aleppo.

Also regime jets targeted the M5 Highway, exactly the area between Maarrat Al-Nu’man and Saraqib, with heavy machineguns.

For their part, regime ground forces fired several shells and rockets after midnight and early this morning targeting places in Maarshourin, Talmannas and Al-Ghadfah in rural Idlib, and other areas in Kafr Naha, Al-Mansurah, Khan Al-Asal and Al-Rashideen in the western countryside of Aleppo.
