Hezbollah destroys tunnels formerly used by opposition factions in the Western Qalamun

Rif Dimashq Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: SOHR sources reported hearing loud explosions in villages and towns of the Western Qalamun. It turned to be caused by detonating several tunnels in the area by forces of the Lebanese Hezbollah and its engineering teams.

These tunnels were used by opposition factions when they were present in areas in the barren mountains of Wadi Al-Khayl and Al-Aywiny.

This action was coincided with other detonations in the barren mountains of Al-Marraah and Tallet Moussa, adjacent Syria – Lebanon border in the Western Qalamun in Rif Dimashq.
