Residents organize a vigil in Al-Harrak town east of Daraa calling for the release of detainees from regime prisons

SOHR activists monitored tens of residents participating in a vigil in Al-Harrak town in the eastern countryside of Daraa, just after Friday prayer, in which they demanded the release of detainees from the Syrian regime detention basements. They also called for ending the regime crackdown imposed over Daraa province.

Yesterday, residents in Daraa countryside called for organizing a vigil in Al-Karak Al-Sharqi town, Jasim city and other areas, denouncing the regime continued violations against civilians and breaking of their promises of releasing the detainees.

On January 13, Syrian Observatory activists monitored a protest in Al-Karak town in Daraa countryside including tens of young men who demanded the release of detainees in the regime prisons.
