Turkish drone crashes in rural al-Qamishli, and Turkish-backed factions shell villages of Ain Issa

Syrian Observatory sources report that a Turkish drone crashed today in the village of Ammarat Tahtani in al-Jawadiya area in eastern countryside of al-Qamishli. Meanwhile, Turkish forces have shelled, with heavy artillery, regime positions in Ain Issa area north of Raqqa. No casualties were reported so far.

On January 31, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that artillery shelling carried out by Turkish-backed factions on al-Rubaiyat village of Abu Rasin town in Hasakah countryside, while sporadic clashes took place between the Syriac Military Council and the Turkish-backed factions, on frontlines of rural Abu Rasin, No casualties were reported to date.

On January 29, SOHR sources reported that unidentified drones targeted positions of Turkish-backed factions in Laylan and Al-Manajir near the M4 highway. No information about casualties were reported so far.

Observatory sources reported also that unidentified drones targeted positions of Turkish-backed factions in Al-Kharitah and Al-Qasimiyah villages in rural Tal Tamr, killing at least eight fighters of the factions amid information about fatalities among Turkish soldiers.
