Tens of air and ground strikes pound Saraqeb amid fierce ongoing attack on Sarmin

Syrian Observatory activists documented the killing of three civilians of the same family in Russian airstrikes on the outskirts of Idlib city. Two other civilians were confirmed dead after being recovered from under the rubble of destruction caused by Russian aerial bombardment on Ariha city yesterday. Also one civilian was killed and members of his family were injured after regime rocket fire on Anjara area in the western countryside of Aleppo.

Separately, Saraqeb town is under intense aerial and ground bombardment with tens of raids, rockets and shells, also clashes are underway in the town’s outskirts between rebel fighters and regime forces.

Regime forces approached Saraqeb even more where they became at only one km away from it encircling the town from three sides. Meanwhile, regime forces unleashed fierce attack on Sarmin town, along with ongoing fierce battles accompanied by intensive aerial and ground fire in both southern and western countryside of Aleppo, between opposition factions and jihadi groups on one hand, and regime forces and loyalists. Confirmed information was reported about the fall of casualties in the ranks of both parties.

On the other hand, Russian jets executed several raids targeting Anadan and Kafr Hamra, north of Aleppo city. The Russian aerial bombardment coincided with intense ground shelling which left injuries.
