Opposition factions launch counterattack on regime forces in Saraqeb leaving 19 soldiers dead

The city of Saraqeb saw fierce clashes over the past few hours between regime soldiers and loyalists on one hand, and rebel and jihadi factions on the other. The factions expelled the regime forces from the city following an attack from the northern side along with Turkish artillery shelling targeting the advancing forces.

The clashes left at least 19 regime soldiers dead as well as seven fatalities among the attacking jihadis.

Separately, three helicopters were seen flying back to their bases after they failed to carry out any operations because of the Turkish obfuscation over the area.
