Fierce clashes erupt between Turkish-backed factions and regime forces north-east of Aleppo, amid ongoing Turkish shelling on regime and Kurdish positions in northern countryside

Syrian Observatory sources reported that fierce clashes erupted between Turkish-backed factions and regime forces on frontlines in Al-Tafri’a and Al-Sukkariyah, east of Bizaah town in the north-eastern countryside of Aleppo.

The clashes coincided with rocket shelling carried out by Turkish forces stationed in Azaz and Mare’ targeting positions of Kurdish and regime forces in Tal Ref’at and the villages of Sheikh Issa, Baylouniyah, Ain Daqnah, Al-Malekiah, Shawarghah and Tabb Marash in Aleppo countryside.
