Aerial and ground strikes on Aleppo and Idlib leave 13 civilians dead in less than 48 hours, while 67 soldiers, rebels and jihadis killed in ongoing battles in both provinces

Syrian Observatory activists documented the death of a child and the injury of his mother and his siblings, all were displaced earlier from Kafr Nubl, in airstrikes by regime jets on Taftanaz town in the eastern countryside of Idlib.

Accordingly, the number of civilians who have been killed in aerial and ground bombardment on Idlib and Aleppo since yesterday, rose to 13: three children and two females were killed in Russian airstrikes on Jadaraya, west of Aleppo, a child was killed in regime aerial bombardment on Taftanaz town, a child girl was killed after regime helicopters had dropped barrel bombs on Taftanaz, three civilians of the same family were killed in Russian airstrikes on the outskirts of Idlib city, two civilians were confirmed dead after being recovered from under the rubble of destruction caused by Russian aerial bombardment on Ariha city, and one civilian was killed after regime rocket fire on Anjara area in the western countryside of Aleppo.

Separately, fierce clashes are underway on frontlines in Qumaynas and Sarmin in Idlib countryside, between regime soldiers and loyalists on one hand, and opposition factions and jihadi groups on the other. Regime forces are trying to advance into the area under a cover of intense aerial and ground firepower.

On the other hand, fierce clashes are underway in areas in both southern and western countryside of Aleppo.

As SOHR activists documented more human losses, the number of fatalities in the ranks of both warring forces who have been killed in bombardment and fierce clashes since yesterday, rose to 35 opposition fighters, including 28 jihadis, and 32 regime soldiers and loyalists.
