Lawlessness in Daraa: two persons killed in separate incidents in rural Daraa

Daraa Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: killing and assassinations are still continuing throughout Daraa province amid growing state of insecurity. Activists informed SOHR that the body of a young man was found behind his house in Al-Sanamayn city in the northern countryside of Daraa, after contact with him was lost yesterday. No marks of gunshots were noticed on his body. However, his neck was twisted and there is dust in his mouth.

Another incident was documented in Al-Sha’ari area in the western countryside of Daraa, as a person operating for the regime’s “4th Division” was shot dead by unknown assailants.

The number of attacks and assassination attempts took place in various forms and methods by detonating bombs, mines, booby-trapped cars, and firing with light and medium weapons, since June 2019 until today, rose to more than 289, raising in turn the number of people killed in the same period to 191: 36 civilians including four women and two children, 99 of the regime forces and militiamen. loyal to them and collaborators of the security forces and regime institutions, 33 fighters of the faction who carried out “reconciliation and settlements” and became in the ranks of regime’s security branches, including former commanders, and of the 16 Syrian militias of the Lebanese Hezbollah and Iranian forces, in addition to six of what is known as the 5th Corps which was established by Russia.
