Russian military column heads from Ain Issa to Al-Qamishly

SOHR activists monitored the arrival of a Russian military column of nearly 15 military vehicles in Al-Qamishly area coming from Ain Issa area in the northern countryside of Al-Raqqah. The column passed through Tal Tamr, Abu Rasin, Al-Darbasiyah and Amuda.

Yesterday, Syrian Observatory activists reported seeing nearly 15 armored vehicles and military vehicles heading towards Abu Rasin area. The vehicles left their base in Al-Qamishly this morning to Al-Darbasyah, then they headed to Abu Rasin area (Zarkan) in rural Al-Hasakah. No information has been reported yet about the convoy’s final destination.

On Thursday, SOHR sources reported that Russian forces headed from “Qa’edat Al-Abqar” station in Tal Tamr town and Al-Qamishly airbase towards the M4 highway in order to set up a military base at Tal Abyad – Al-Raqqah junction, about ten km away from Al-Raqqah city.
