IED explodes in rural Deir Ezzor, and the number of insecurity victims in “SDF” areas increases to 434

Deir Ezzor Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: an IED exploded today in front of a commercial gathering in al-Shuhayl town in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, but no information about injuries.

The Syrian Observatory monitored on the 8th of February 2020 that a motorcycle exploded today on the Novoteh Street in Hajin city in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, which killed a member of the Syria Democratic Forces and injured two other members.

The number of fighters, civilians, oil workers and officials in service agencies who were assassinated in four provinces: Aleppo, Deir Ezzor, Raqqa and Al-Hasakah, in addition to Manbij area in northeastern Aleppo province, which is controlled by the SDF, increased to 434 persons.

The Syrian Observatory documented the assassination of 141 civilians, including eight children and five women in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, Al-Hasakah countryside, Raqqa city and its countryside and Manbij, in addition to the assassination of 288 fighters of SDF, including local leaders in the same areas, while four members of the International coalition were killed, dozens of casualties were reported as a result of those assassinations.
