Car bomb explosion leaves fatalities among regime forces and 160 airstrikes target the “de-escalation” today

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the Jihadi factions today targeting a gathering of the regime forces in Miznaz area in Aleppo countryside with a second car bomb, which killed at least seven members of the regime forces.

Meanwhile, violent clashes are taking place in areas in the western and southwestern countryside of Aleppo near the administrative border with Idlib province, between the factions and jihadi groups and the regime forces and loyalists, coincided with an exchange of shelling and targeting.

In the same context, the number of raids carried out by the Russian warplanes on the western outskirts of Idlib city, the vicinity of Sarmin town, Kafr Nubl town, and the clash areas in the southwestern countryside of Aleppo, rose to 72.

The number of airstrikes carried out by regime warplanes has also increased to 66 targeting Kafr Halab, Kafr Noran, al-Atareb, the “M5” road in Aleppo countryside, Maarrat al-Na’asan, and Shalakh in Idlib countryside.

The helicopters dropped 22 barrel bombs targeting areas in the western and southern countryside of Aleppo as well as the clashes areas.

The Syrian Observatory documented the killing of 19 members of the regime forces and militias loyal to them today in the shelling, bombing, and clashes, in addition to the killing of 18 of the jihadi groups in the same shelling and clashes.

Observatory activists also documented gross human losses in the ranks of both warring forces who have been killed in bombardment and fierce clashes since the evening of the 24th of January 2020, they are 366 jihadis among 493 opposition fighters were killed so far, in addition to the killing of 445 of the regime soldiers and loyalists including 10 of the Iran-loyal militias.
