Turkey sends new military reinforcement to Syria

SOHR sources reported seeing this morning a new Turkish military column of armored vehicles and heavy military gears crossing into Syria via Kafr Lusin crossing on the border with Iskenderun, north of Idlib.

The entry of the new Turkish reinforcement coincides with taking control of the entire highway of Damascus – Aleppo by the regime force.

Yesterday, SOHR sources report that Turkish forces set up a new post inside the Syrian territory, establishing a military post in the 46th Regiment in the western countryside of Aleppo, as part of the continued deployment of the Turks in Aleppo and Idlib.

Over the past few hours and days, Turkish forces were stationed in several locations and posts, most notably Taftanaz military airport, Tala’e Al Baath camp in Al-Mustauma, Tal Qomaynas, west of Idlib city, and the 46th Regiment, west of Aleppo.

On Sunday, the Syrian Observatory reported that the Turkish military columns continued entering Idlib province including heavy weapons, tanks and military radars. Reliable source have informed the Syrian Observatory that Turkish army is preparing its Syrian proxies for launching a wide-scale military operation against regime forces, in the case that they do not retreat from areas they have advanced into nearby the Turkish posts.
