Turkish Forces escalate the bombardment in areas controlled by the Syriac Military Council and the regime forces in Tal Tamr countryside
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored intense missile shelling carried out by the Turkish Forces on areas in the villages of Om al-Khair, Mjibret al-Sharrbeen, Dardarah, and Twila in Tal Tamr countryside which are controlled by the regime forces and the Syriac Military Council of the Syria Democratic Forces, but no information about casualties so far, and the Syrian Observatory monitored on the 5th of January 2020 that Turkish-backed factions fired several rockets on regime forces’ positions in the area of Abu Rasin and the road between Abu Rasin and Tal Tamr. According to very reliable SOHR sources, a Russian vehicle was damaged as a Russian military patrol coming from Rubay’at was passing near the targeted sites. The shelling also killed and injured many regime soldiers.
