Hours after it was lost, the factions control a village south Idlib and 190 airstrikes target the “de-escalation” area

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored today a violent attack by the rebel and jihadi factions led to their control of al-Sheikh Damis village in the southern countryside of Idlib. The factions were able to capture a member of the regime hours after the regime forces and loyalists took control of the village this morning, in conjunction with ground and airstrikes.

The number of airstrikes carried out by regime warplanes also increased to 74, they targeted Kafr Nubl, the vicinity of Qminas, Binnish, Kafriya, al-Fu’ah, Idlib, and Sarmin in Idlib countryside, and the number barrel bombs that targeted the southern countryside of Idlib and the western countryside of Aleppo rose to 18.
