Turkish column enters the “de-escalation” area and in 24 hours, more than 350 trucks and hundreds of members of the special forces arrive

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored a new Turkish column entering from Kafrluseen crossing towards the “de-escalation” area.

The column consists of about 150 vehicles carrying military equipment, tanks, and artillery.

In the past few hours, the Turkish army commandos have arrived in Idlib province, while the total number of vehicles that entered the “de-escalation” area within the past 24 hours is more than 350.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored, during the period from the 2nd of February 2020 until now, more than 1,800 Turkish trucks and military vehicles arrived in Syria, carrying tanks, personnel carriers, armored vehicles, mobile bulletproof guard booths and military radars, while the number of Turkish soldiers deployed in Idlib and Aleppo during the same period were at least 6,500 soldiers.
