Turkey’s reinforcement: over 2,000 truck and vehicles arrive in 12 days as new military column enters Syria

SOHR sources report that Turkish forces brought in more military reinforcement to Syria, where a new military column entered on Saturday morning via Kafr Losin border crossing with Iskenderun region and headed towards Aleppo and Idlib.

The new column consists of about 50 military vehicles, the number of Trucks and military vehicles that arrived in the “de-escalation” zone, during the period from February 2 to date, rose to more than 2,025 Turkish trucks and military vehicles arrived in Syrian territory, carrying tanks, personnel carriers, armored vehicles and mobile bulletproof guard booths and military radars. While some 6,500 Turkish soldiers deployed in Idlib and Aleppo during this period.

Yesterday, the Syrian Observatory reported that Turkish forces set up a new military post near “Kafr Karmin” town in western rural Aleppo, where self-propelled artillery and armored personnel carriers were stationed in the area. While yesterday a military column entered via Kafr Losin crossing, north of Idlib carrying tanks and artillery. The column consists of 75 trucks headed to western rural Aleppo and Idlib, where Turkish armoured vehicles and tanks were deployed in the city of Ariha, on Aleppo-Latakia international highway.

Turkish forces also set up another military post yesterday, in Deir Sanbul area of Jabal al-Zawiya in rural Idlib.
