Turkish forces and loyal factions shell SDF-held areas in N Syria

Turkish forces and their Syrian proxies targeted the villages of Sida, Mu’allaqa, Aafdiko, Kubralak and Ain Issa camp in the northern countryside of Al-Raqqah with mortars and heavy machineguns. No information about casualties has been reported.

Meanwhile, the village of Tawilah in Tal Tamr countryside came under sporadic shelling by the Turkish troops and loyal factions.

Also Turkish-backed factions shelled Bashmira village in the northern countryside of Aleppo leaving two children and a female injured.

SOHR sources reported this morning that violent clashes continued on frontlines near Ayn Issa area in north Al-Raqqah countryside, and other frontlines in rural Tal Tamer, north of Hasakeh, between factions operating under the banner of SDF on one hand, and Ankara-backed factions on the other, amid ongoing intensive and violent shelling between the two sides.

SOHR sources also reported that Turkish-backed factions brought in large military reinforcement to the frontlines of Ain Issa, where a large military column arrived from Tal Abyad area.
