New explosion rocks Ras Al-Ain just three days after many persons killed in car-bomb explosion in Tal Abyad

Syrian Observatory activists reported hearing a loud explosion this afternoon in the Turkish-controlled city of Ras Al-Ain in Al-Hasakah countryside. The explosion was caused by the detonation of a booby-trapped motorcycle. No casualties been reported yet.

On February 16, SOHR sources report that a car-bomb exploded in the center of Turkish-controlled city of Tal Abyad, killing at least five people, including a woman, while eight others were injured.

Observatory activists reported on February 13 that a car-bomb exploded in the industrial area of Suluk countryside in Tal Abyad, north of Raqqa, causing significant material damage. No casualties were reported about to date.

On January 30, a ctivists informed the Syrian Observatory that a land-mine went off while Turkish forces were looting grain from silos of Tal Abyad city to transport them to Turkey. The explosion killed two Turkish drivers and injured five others some of whom are in critical condition.
