Displaced people break into a relief warehouse north of Idlib

Displaced people stormed a relief warehouse north of Idlib today. According to sources of the Syrian Observatory, hundreds of displaced citizens gathered in front of the warehouses of “Nasa’em al-Khair” organization located on the road of Bab al-Hawa – Ma’arrat Mesrin north of Idlib; while distributing the WFP relief basket for displaced people from Saraqib city under local councils’ supervision, where the citizens broke into the warehouse by force and took the relief items they found in it.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has witnessed a significant worsening in the humanitarian disaster experienced by displaced people in various areas, especially in camps on the Syrian border with Iskenderun, where the displaced people are scattered out in the open due to the overcrowding in these camps, villages, towns, and cities, while the humanitarian organizations are helpless in the face of the huge number of displaced people, which has become more than of 1.1 million displaced people since early December, also the bad weather and significant decrease in temperature in winter have increased the suffering and disaster of the displaced people.
