Nearly 45 regime and Turkish soldiers and rebels killed in shelling and violent battles on Al-Nayrab frontline, east of Idlib

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented more casualties as a result of the fierce battles in Al-Nayrab town on Thursday. The death toll of regime forces and loyalists rose to 14, including members beheaded by jihadist fighters.

While the death toll of rebels and jihadists, during the same shelling and clashes, rose to about 28. Two Turkish soldiers were also killed and others were injured as a result of Russian airstrike on the outskirts of Al-Nayrab town.
It is noteworthy that Turkish forces and proxies have launched yesterday a violent attack with intensive firepower on Al-Nayrab town, east of Idlib, allowing them to advance and control large parts of the town, before regime forces were able to regain the initiative with Russian air support, and managed to recapture the town completely.
