Regime forces shell positions of the Turkish-backed factions north of Ayn Issa, and the latter shell rural Tal Abyad

The regime forces shelled today positions of the Turkish-backed factions north of Ayn Issa town north of al-Raqqah.

In the meantime, the Turkish-backed factions shelled the villages of Khribet Baqra, Sawwan, Bir Zennar, Laqlu, Bir Hasan, Kor Hasan, Qazali and Mab’oujeh in the western countryside of Tal Abyad.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also monitored the Turkish forces bringing a column of military vehicles and soldiers to Sherkrak Silos.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored on the 22nd of February 2020 violent clashes between the regime forces and the Turkish-backed factions.

The clashes took place in Bir Kannu village in the countryside of Tal Abyad north of al-Raqqah, in conjunction with heavy artillery shelling on Tal Abyad areas.
