Regime forces advance further in Idlib and Hama recovering 30 areas in less than 60 hours

SOHR sources say that fierce clashes are underway in areas in the eastern countryside of Idlib, between Turkish backed factions and regime forces. The clashes followed the regime forces counterattack in order to recover Maarrat Alya and Saan, north-west of Saraqeb city, after being fallen yesterday to the factions and Turks.

Separately, Russian jets targeted a vehicle of opposition factions in Kafr Oweid area, south of Idlib, leaving five rebels dead. Meanwhile, regime forces advanced further into the southern countryside of Idlib and adjacent countryside of Hama capturing six new villages there, bringing the number of captured areas in the past 60 hours to the following 30 towns and villages: (1) Sheikh Damis, (2) Hantutin, (3) Rakaya, (4) Tal Al-Nar, (5) Kafr Sajna, (6) Sheikh Mustafa, (7) Naqir, (8) Satuh Al-Deir, (9) Arinbeh, (10) Um Sir, (11) Maarrat Al-Sin, (12) Jabbala, (13) Maarrat Mater, (14) Maar Zita, (15) Ba’rabu, (15) Arinbeh, (16) Maarrat Hurmah, (17) Basqala, (18) Hass, (19) Kafr Nubl, (20) Hazarin, (21) Kura, (22) Sahhab, (23) Deir Sunbul, (24) Tremla, (25) Al-Dar Al-Kaberah, (26) Jibbin, (27) Hassanah, (28) Al-Faqi’, (29) Karsa’a and (30) Al-Lubaydah.
