As regime forces advance south Idlib, the factions control several villages around Neirab town with Turkish artillery support

The regime forces and loyalists continue to control areas in the southern countryside of Idlib after an intense Russian air shelling, where they managed to take control of Ma’arrat Mesrin after battles against the factions and jihadi groups.

The number of areas controlled by the regime forces in the past hours increased to 11, they are Sheikh Damis, Hantutin, Rakaya, Tal al-Nar, Kafrsajna, Sheikh Mustafa, al-Naqir, Maarzita, Om al-Sir and Ma’aarat al-Sin.

Meanwhile, the violent clashes are still taking place near the “M4” road between the regime forces and loyalists and between the rebel and Jihadi factions, where the latter managed with Turkish support to take control of the villages of Maarat Alya, al-Salhiyyeh and San, after controlling Neirab town completely which is located near the “M4” road.
