IED explosion targets regime military vehicle, leaving casualties in western countryside of Daraa

Daraa Governorate – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

Reliable source have informed SOHR that a violent explosion rocked the western countryside of Daraa, caused by an improvised explosive device (IED), targeting a military vehicle belonging to regime forces on Jalin-Sheikh Sa’ad road, west of Daraa city, killing four regime soldiers and injuring several others, as well as destroying the vehicle.

This brings the number of attacks and assassination attempts in various forms and methods by detonating IEDs, mines, booby-trapped vehicles and shootings from past June to date, to more than 317 attacks.

While the number of those who killed and died in the same period has risen to 206 persons, 41 of whom are civilians, including four women and three children, in addition to 108 members of regime forces, loyalists and collaborators with regime security services.

35 members of opposition factions were also killed, those who made “settlements and reconciliations” with the regime and became members of regime security services, including former leaders, and 16 members of Syrian militias affiliated to Lebanese “Hezbollah” and Iranian forces, in addition to six members of so-called “Fifth Corps” established by Russia.
