Nearly 55 regime soldiers, rebels and jihadists killed in Sahl Al-Ghab and Jabal al-Zawiya, while regime forces recapture four new villages

Reliable source have informed SOHR that rebels and jihadist groups have managed to regain control of Kafr Aweid and Sofohon in Jabal al-Zawiya, Qolydin and Al-Zaqum in Sahl Al-Ghab northwest of Hama, following violent clashes with regime forces and loyalists. Violent battles have erupted again and rebel fighters are continuing attacks on regime forces amid intensive and violent shelling.

The Syrian Observatory has documented casualties among the two sides due to shelling and clashes. 23 regime soldiers and loyalists have been killed, while 31 fighters, including 20 jihadists have been killed.

The death toll is expected to rise as there are dozens of injured on the two sides, some are seriously injured. Rebels captured since yesterday seven areas: Kafr Aweed, Sofohin, Qaqfin, Al-Daqmaq, Al-Zaqom, Qolaydin and Al-Haloubeh.
